We hope everyone had a fun and relaxing Winter Break! Monday, January 5 is our first day back together and we are looking forward to seeing everyone then.

 Important Dates 

Kindergarten Registration  

If you have a child that will be joining us for kindergarten next school year, registration opens on January 12, 2026 for the 2026/2027 school year. You may register your child for kindergarten if they turn five years old on or before Dec. 31 of the school year they will be in kindergarten. For example, when registering for the 2026-27 school year, your child must turn five on or before Dec. 31, 2026.

Healthy Hunger 

If your child will not be in attendance on the fun snack/lunch day and you wish to pick up the order, please email the school auburnbay@cbe.ab.ca by 10:30 am that day. It will be kept in the office until this time. If we do not hear about a pick-up, the item will be disposed of or given away.   

School Council 

Our next School Council will be on January 8, at 6:00 pm at the school.  

Patrols and Safe Crossing 

Thank you to our wonderful patrols for keeping students and families safe in the mornings and after school. Please remember to always use the crosswalks and support our patrols with their hard work. DO NOT jay walk in front of the school, as it is extremely unsafe. Drivers cannot see pedestrians and are not able to stop with the slippery winter road conditions. 

A reminder that there NO parking in the bus lanes at any time. Thanks for your support! 

Report Cards 

Just a reminder that because of the labour disruption in the fall, CBE has changed the date for the first semester report cards. Report cards for students will go “live” in you My CBE account on February 24.
