Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration for the 2025-26 School year opens January 13, 2025. Registrations are to be completed online.
Registration and preference of AM or PM Kindergarten is not a first come first basis. Please fill out your forms online.
When can my child begin Kindergarten?
Children must be at lease 5 years old as of December 31, 2025 to start Kindergarten in the fall of 2025.

Report Cards
Report Cards will be available on your MyCBE account on January 27, 2025. Please email auburnbay@cbe.ab.ca if you need a printed copy.
Attendance
School doors open at 7:50 am and learning starts at 8:00 am. If your child is late, it is important to check in at the office. Parents need to sign their child in if they are arriving after 8:05 am, when the doors close. If your child is going to be away, please call in the absence to (403) 817-3540 Press 1 OR email the office at auburnbay@cbe.ab.ca , even if you already let the teacher know.
Fees
Please log into your MyCBE account and click on the icon “Fees, Waivers, & Service Registration” to see if you have any outstanding fees. Field Trip Fees are added throughout the year. Lunch supervision was added in October and monthly payments are available.
Contact Information Change
If any of your contact information has changed (phone number, new email or someone new needs to be added for pick-up, please log into your MyCBE Account, click on the icon “Online Forms and School Registration” and click on your child's name on the left side under Students. When you click on +New (green) button on right, it will prompt a new form for you to fill out with the changes.
Healthy Hunger
If your child will not be in attendance on the fun snack/lunch day and you wish to pick up the order, please email the school auburnbay@cbe.ab.ca by 10:30 am. It will be kept in the office until this time. If we do not hear about a pick-up, the item will be disposed of or given away.
Volunteers
We appreciate our volunteers that come in to support activities and field trips! If you do not have a current police clearance and are interested in volunteering, please contact the office to learn about the process.
School Patrols
We have been working with AMA and have set up patrol training for the end of January. An email will be sent to families of students that returned their forms with more information about this training and dates in January.
As the school continues to work closely with the city to keep our students and families safe when walking to and from school, we have been approved for a “No U-Turn" sign by the crosswalk at the entrance to staff parking lot. Another great step in the right direction!
The city has shared, that because of the traffic control monitoring they have done, the “L” crosswalks do not pass the criteria to get a 4-way stop put in.
