Register for Kindergarten  

Kindergarten registration for the 2024-25 school year opens on Jan. 15, 2024. Please go to the CBE Registration page to register for kindergarten.  

Registrations are to be completed online.   

Registration and preference of AM or PM kindergarten is not a first come first serve basis. Please fill out your forms online.    

When Can My Child Begin Kindergarten?  

Children must be at least five years old as of December 31 , 2024 to start kindergarten in the fall of that calendar year. This means that a four-year old child may start kindergarten if they will turn five on or before December 31 of 2024.  

Healthy Hunger

We do not accept orders at the school. Please order online at Healthyhunger.ca.  

Kindergarten students, can only order on fun snack days.  

Cut off for ordering is 5 days before the fun lunch/snack. If your child is away on the day of, please email auburnbay@cbe.ab.ca by 10:30am to make arrangements for pickup.   Please ensure that you do pick up before 1:00pm.  If we do not hear from you by 10:30am, it will be disposed of or given away. You can cancel future orders as long as it is before the 5-business day cut off.   

Fees  

Log in to your MyCBE account, you may have an outstanding fee as they are added regularly.   Once you log in, click on the icon on the left-hand side that says “Fees, Waivers & Service Registration.”  This will show if you have any fees outstanding.  

 If you ordered a Hoodie, the fee has now been added, please log in and pay. 

Volunteering 

Each year you will fill out the Annual Volunteer Form for Auburn Bay School. This was sent in the Opening packages at the beginning of the school year. 

PLUS 

You need to have a valid volunteer police clearance done for the Calgary Board of Education.  This means you need to bring your Driver’s License to the school for us to process and print a letter for you. Once you have our school letter you can go to the CPS website and follow the steps, or you can go in person to the Police department. When you are cleared, please bring us a copy of the cleared letter. An approved volunteer clearance allows you to volunteer for 5 years.
