It is hard to believe we are at the end of another school year already!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for a wonderful 2023-2024 year at Auburn Bay School. The year was full of learning, growth, fun, kindness and excitement. Over the year, it has been a pleasure to watch our students grow, achieve success and be proud of their accomplishments.

In order to create a safe, welcoming and caring environment, it takes a team. We are thankful to work with the best team of staff, students and families. 

We would like to wish everyone a fun, relaxing and safe summer with friends and family. We look forward to seeing everyone in the fall for another fabulous year.

Staffing 

As each year comes to an end, it is that time when some staff head onto new adventures. We want to thank the following teachers for their excellence in teaching and wish them all the best in their new adventures: Randy O’Connor (retirement adventures!), Amy Hegadoren (new school adventures), Taylor Fornwald (new school adventures), Cristina Vila Dyler, Kyle Schrader, Effie Teichroeb and Hannah Manzano. 

We are pleased to announce that Megan Kemper and Emma Sinclair will be continuing at Auburn Bay School. We are also welcoming Lisa Moe, who will be joining us next year!   

School Organization 

Our school has a large population and therefore we are maximizing all learning spaces. Along with all classroom spaces, we will continue to access the Learning Commons for two separate classroom spaces that are divided with portable dividers.

August 29, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. is the first School Council Meeting at the school. All parents are welcome to join. 

Auburn Bay School Open House  

We will be hosting an Open House for families to see their child’s classroom and meet the teachers. This will be on September 12 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

School Council has arranged for food trucks to be on site to enjoy! 

Lost and Found

We will have all items out on display after school at the front doors of the school on Wednesday and Thursday. Please take a look if your child is missing any items. Any items left will be donated at the end of the week. 

Report Cards

Report cards will be available to view on your MyCBE account from June 26 – July 26, 2024. 

First day of School

August 29, 2024 

During the last week in August, an email will be sent with Welcome Back information. You will also receive an email from your child’s new teacher on August 27 or 28.
